Designed for those who must make presentations in the course of their jobs, this practical hands-on program is divided into three half-day sessions. The first two are held two days apart, with the third one week later.

Session 1

  • What to include in the presentation
  • How to structure it for most impact
  • How to support it with effective visual aids
  • How to handle question and answer sessions
  • Handouts: when and what to hand out
  • Pacing the presentation to fit the time
  • Dealing with presentation stress

Session 2

  • Participants give their 7-minute presentation on camera
  • The group discusses each presentation on camera

Session 3

  • Participants give same 7-minute presentation on camera
  • Discussion of how well they integrated the group feedback
  • Recommendations/directors notes for future guidance

Takeaways

Each participant receives a DVD containing all presentations and all discussions with group and instructor feedback. This is an excellent tool for ongoing practice and improvement.
